Our team recently completed a major entrance upgrade for the Avalon residential building in Manhattan. The project involved removing the building’s existing entrance doors and installing a brand-new set of two full-glass double doors, for a total of four new doors. These modern, high-clarity glass doors were selected to enhance both the aesthetic appeal and the functionality of the building’s main lobby.
After the installation of the new door systems, our technicians proceeded to automate the entire entrance. We mounted and wired automatic door operators above both double-door units, transforming them into fully accessible, hands-free entryways. The operators were precisely calibrated to provide smooth, quiet, and reliable operation, while meeting current New York accessibility standards.
